Planning a house cleanout with a dumpster
How to get a whole house emptied within your rental.
Sort before the dumpster arrives
Every rental includes up to 7 days. Decide what you'll keep, sell or donate before delivery, so the dumpster is filling from the first day.
Load the big things first
Couches, mattresses and dressers go in first, at the far end. Smaller items fill the space around them.
Tell us about appliances and tires
A few items, such as tires, electronics, batteries and appliances with refrigerant, carry an extra charge. Mention them when you book so there are no surprises.
Ask about a second dumpster
For a full house, ask us about a second dumpster when you book. If the driveway has room, you can fill one while the other is waiting.
